Dr. Adria Wilkes graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in Biology, Summa Cum Laude. She went on to complete her medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine and her Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Florida in Jacksonville Florida.
She is an active member at Memorial Health University Medical Center and St. Josephs/Candler Hospitals. Dr. Wilkes currently serves as the Chair of the Pediatrics Department at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Dr. Wilkes is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, an Assistant Clinical Professor at Mercer University School of Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the American Medical Association and Georgia Medical Society.
Dr. Wilkes honors and awards include Sigma Alpha Phi Honor Society (past president), Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Highly Distinguished Faculty Honors for 8 semesters during her college years. While at Mercer, she was awarded the Outstanding Student in Pediatrics twice. She was awarded the Gladys P Soler MD Ambulatory Pediatrics Award during residency.
Dr. Wilkes lives in Ardsley Park with her husband, Drew, and 2 children, Andrew and Camille. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and spending time at the pool. She also enjoys reading and trying new restaurants. She is very active in her community, including the Next Generation through Memorial Health University Medical Center, Urban Hope and her church, Wesley Monumental.
